Antique Ch'ing Dynasty (1644-1911 ) Silver Kylin Necklace on a Silver Chain.
This antique Chinese pendant is over 100 years old and perfect condition. The stones, turquoise, agate and jade are amazing! It is a beautifully made necklace from the Ch'ing (Q'ing) Dynasty. The Chinese silver 'Kylin' with a human figure riding him and is meant for good health and long life. These pieces were presented as gifts to newborn babies so that they would be protected against sickness and insured for good health and longevity.
